Our Story
How We Met
We met online in 2013! We started as friends talking all the time, and eventually, it turned into something more. Even though we had never met in person, we knew our relationship was something worth waiting for and in 2016 we met for the first time! It was like we had known each other our whole lives, and we knew this was something we wanted forever. After that, we visited each other whenever we could through college and working, and finally in 2021 after graduating from UT, I moved up to MA to be with Jimmy.
The Proposal
Jimmy proposed to me while we were on a family vacation in the Dominican Republic! The whole family was dressed up for dinner, waiting for our reservation when we decided to take a group photo on the grand staircase. After having our pictures taken, he stepped back from me and reached into his pocket and I swear that I almost passed out right there. I realized what was happening as he got down on one knee in front of his whole family and everyone in the lobby, and I'm surprised I even responded to his question because I was so shocked.
