Our Story
How We Met
We met on Tinder (Haha yes, we know, but we are the exception) in December of 2020. Although we didn't seem to hit it off right away, there was an undeniable bond. We say this because a year later, on Christmas Eve we reconnected and there was an unexplainable and unforgettable connection. This connection laid the groundwork for the love we have and share for one another today. We went on our first date December 31, 2021 and started officially dating January of 2022.
The Proposal
On March 10, 2024, Brad and I took a trip to Willow River State Park, which holds a special place in our hearts. We took a trip as a family; Brad, Avery, Payton, and I. The girls were enamored by the waterfall and they were able to play in the water. It was a blast. There were so many smiles and laughs. A trip to remember! The day we got engaged, Brad and I took the dogs hiking there. We went down the hill to the waterfall and climbed past the gate to the rocks. There I was, too busy focusing on getting a picture of one of the dogs, and behind me was Brad, kneeling (for what he says was a minute too long). I got the photo of Copper, turned around, and there he was, on one knee, holding out a ring, asking me to spend the rest of our lives together.
