How We Met
Ashley and Sam met at the Electric Factory in May 2015. Sam was running around with his camera when Ashley accidentally got in his way. Typical. Sam was on the road for the summer and Ashley had just gotten hired with American Airlines, which allowed her the opportunity to visit Sam in different cities during their first summer together. Sam and Ashley both realized that the bond they shared was something unique and special in July 2015.
The Proposal
All good things happen on vacation right? Sam proposed to Ashley on their fourth anniversary together on August 17, 2019. Sam made the decision to pop the question in Puerto Penasco, Mexico, aka Rocky Point, an infamous Shapiro vacation destination, which is actually where Sams father, Aaron proposed to Sams Mother, Denise. The location was very special to Sam.
