Our Story
How We Met
We like to say we met "the millennial way."
We both moved to Charleston, South Carolina chasing a job in the summer of 2019. Within a few months (and a right swipe on our favorite dating app), Ashlee and David were exploring Charleston together. An entire global pandemic, three bunnies, a house, and a proposal later, we are so excited to have you at our big day!
The Proposal
On our first trip to Long Island, David took Ashlee on a bike ride. We went to David's high school, through Eisenhower Park, and ended with a Fudgy the Whale (of course).
On November 11, 2023, David took Ashlee on a very similar bike ride - to his high school, through Eisenhower Park. But this time, the bike ride landed in a perfectly planned spot in the rose gardens with friends and cameras waiting in ambush.
