How We Met
We met on a warm summer night in Tucson thanks to a lucky twist of fate. From the very beginning, we bonded over our shared love of music, sports, traveling — and most of all, our kids. Life with our little crew has been full of laughs, adventures, and unforgettable memories surrounded by friends and family. What started as a chance encounter turned into the best kind of love story — one built on fun, family, and a whole lot of joy.
From our first date to this moment, it’s been a journey full of laughter, adventures, and unconditional love. We can’t wait to start this next chapter of life as husband and wife — and we’re so grateful to have you be part of it.
The Proposal
While on a cruise to Mexico, Amanda spotted a beautiful ring that caught her eye — the kind of ring you don’t forget. What she didn’t know was that I doubled back later, bought it in secret, and tucked it away for the perfect moment.
A few months later, that moment showed up — completely out of nowhere. With my knee out of commission and spontaneity in full swing, Amanda’s youngest son, Brantley, dropped down on one knee, with the ring in hand, and popped the question for me. It was perfectly imperfect, unforgettable, and full of heart — just like our story.
