How We Met
Jim and Kara first met at Saint Joseph's University and their first date was in 2016 at a Phillies Game. Our relationship continued to grow across college and the years following. Our time together has been spent in the beach towns of Ocean County, Cape May County, and Philly- resulting in a life together in the best sports city in the world (Go Phils).
The Proposal
On February 18, 2023, Jim and Kara were on a walk to old city through Washington Square Park to get "lunch" with Kara's parents. Kara was ready early for the first time in her life, which lead to her almost catching Jim putting the ring in his pocket. As they reached the fountain and Kara was distracted by dogs, Jim got down on one knee and proposed. After he got the "yes", they celebrated at their local bar with friends and family who helped make it one of the most special days of their lives.
